Verification is an essential step in creating trust between members. Therefore, GuesttoGuest proposes 3 levels of verification: verification of the a member's identity and the registered address on their listing, verification of their phone number and verification of their email address. For more information on these three types of verification, click here.
There are different ways to see if a member has been verified in the three possible way.
Please take note that the green tick next to the profile picture is just verification of the member's address and identity.
To see all the verified items, you can:
1. Go to the profile of the member you would like to contact
At their profile, you will find their description, the groups which they belong to and there is also a section which would state what kind of verifications they have. If there is a green tick next to each component, it means that it has been verified by GuesttoGuest.
On the contrary, if the member did not have all three components verified, only those verified will be green. The example below shows what is displayed when only the address and identity had been verified.
2. Go to the listing
As per usual, you will be able to find the owner of the house on the right side of the listing. That is also where you will be able to contact him, see his response rate and his verification levels.
3. Try to contact the member
When you try to contact a member, you will be able to see on the right side of the window their verification level.
