Every home on GuesttoGuest has a value of GuestPoints per night (GP/night).
Where can I see the value of my home in GuestPoints?
You must go to your home's listing in order to see how many GuestPoints has been set.
Click on "My home" from the drop down menu found at the top right of your screen:
Once on your listing, you will see the number of GuestPoints per night of your home to the right of the name of the listing:
How is this value calculated?
The amount of GuestPoints per night of your home is calculated automatically by GuesttoGuest: This calculation takes into account a variety of different things including the number of beds in the home, the location of the accommodation and the extra amenities included in your listing.
Thus, it is important to accurately fill in the "beds" and "comforts" tabs of your home's listing:
Is it possible to change this value?
You can change the amount of GuestPoints per night of your home.
This number of GuestPoints can be modified up to 30GP more than the value calculated by GuesttoGuest.
That being said, we recommend that you do not modify the automatic value of GuestPoints per night of your home. It is important that your home is neither undervalued nor "overvalued" in order to efficiently attract guests, to finalize your exchanges with ease, and to be honest in regards to your guests in order to receive positive ratings.
How to modify your GuestPoints per night
To change the amount of GuestPoints associated with your home, click on "My home" and then "edit" under the existing number of GuestPoints per night of your home. (this number can be found in pink at the top right of your listing).
You can then choose from the values proposed in the drop down menu and click on "save" to save the modification:
Can I change the value of my home for a particular exchange?
Absolutely! You can change the number of GuestPoints per night of your home for specific exchanges without the modified value being seen by the rest of the members on GuesttoGuest.
This can be done directly in the messaging system in your personal conversations with your guests.
